What You'll Do:

Assess participants’ needs and create individualized music therapy plans to support emotional, cognitive, and social well-being.
Conduct individual and group music therapy sessions using diverse musical techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to integrate music therapy into overall care plans.
Document and evaluate participants’ progress, adapting interventions as needed.
Educate staff and family members on the benefits of music therapy and participate in team care discussions.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy from an accredited institution.
Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with a valid Massachusetts license.
Experience with seniors, especially those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments.
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques for older adults and evidence-based music therapy practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
